Cathy Lander-Goldberg,  MSW, LCSW, 

is a St. Louis based photographer, educator, clinical social worker and the curator/photographer for the traveling exhibition :

 The Resilient Souls Project.


She is the author of:

PHOTO EXPLORATIONS: A Girl's Guide to Self-Discovery Through Photography, Writing and Drawing (2015).

She also is the director of Photo Explorations, which offers workshops for girls and women to increase self-awareness through photo-journaling. Her projects and workshops frequently use photography and writing to promote self-awareness and self-expression. The work is influenced both by her bachelor's degree in photo-journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia as well as her master's degree in social work from Washington University.

 Her photos have appeared in numerous publications including AMERICAN PHOTO Magazine, JUMP Magazine, National Geographic Kids Magazine, PARADE Magazine, St. Louis Magazine, SUCCESS Magazine, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch and TV Guide as well as in numerous textbooks and corporate publications.

 An inspiring traveling exhibit of portraits and writing celebrating the individual strength and beauty of spirit in a diverse group of women.

On display: January 17 to March 9, 2018,

Brown School of Social Work at

Washington University in St. Louis

 Located in the lower level of Goldfarb Hall on Forsyth Blvd.

Public hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Enter through the ground-level door on Forsyth Blvd between Goldfarb and Hillman Hall.  

Parking is available at the Danforth University Center Underground Garage  (6475 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63105)  free after 5 pm and on Saturday. Appropriate for high school age and older.
